Weight Loss Diet Program Failure Overcoming Two Leading Problems

A large number of people around the world are overweight. Most of them have been following different programs that would help them to lose weight but they were not successful. If you ask any person for the reasons of their failure, one way or the other they will give you the following two problems:

1. They could not follow the program.

2. They lost some weight but could not maintain it.

These two problems are the biggest ones that most people face but this does not mean that they are the only ones. Both of these problems are related to the human mind and not human body. The main cause of this failure is the mind state of a human being; he is expected to follow the program with consistency which for some people is not possible. Another reason for this failure is the conflict between a person’s unconscious and conscious state of mind. These two are the reasons due to which a person fails to lose his or her weight. If you are not prepared then nothing can help you get the required results.

The only solution to this problem is to change the entire life style of a person. This will help his sub-conscious mind to accept it and he will be able to follow the plan with more consistency. This shift will solve all the problems and the person will adapt to the new settings. Now this will be more of an adopted life style than a forced on. Now the person will follow the whole diet and exercise program without any trouble. There are numerous advance mind trainings that can help you achieve this state of mind, magically slim being one of them. With the required mind state in place a person will easily follow all the weight loss programs and will be able to maintain it for a long period of time.

With the mind state in place you will need to find yourself a good diet and exercise plan. You can only lose your weight if you are able to burn more calories than you take in. For this reason you need to have a good diet plan. You can ask a doctor to tell you about healthy foods with low calories or you can ask your friends who are already following a plan. You can also use the internet yourself and then evaluate the food items. This way you can eat what you want and you will know how much calories it contains. With your diet plan in place it’s time to get yourself a good exercise plan. You can go for some basic exercises or advanced exercise but this depends on your level of experience. You can buy the necessary equipment or join a gym for this reason. You also have another option! If you don’t want to follow exercises then you can go out for walking, cycling, swimming or running. They don’t require any specialized equipment so they are much easier to adopt.

    I did fatloss4idiots diet plan and I lost about 50 pounds in not even 3 months. And I've kept it off for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the easiest diet because it pretty much told you what you could and couldn't eat and you didn't have to count points or anything like that. What I lost really isn't typical for the amount of time I did it but I know others who have done it and they got really good results from it as well.

    You need to go to therapy to find out what the underlying cause may be. it has to be more than a craving…maybe a hormone imbalance or something medically or mentally out of whack. you need to start exercising and eat fresh fruits/vegies, berries and fiber when you want to eat the junk food. occupy your time with reading, walking, hanging out with friends, etc. attend church. having God on your side always helps.

    you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

    Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

    The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

    Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

    Get off Depo. It is dangerous and completely messed my hormone levels up. I was having menopausal symptoms at only 23!

    When I switched to a different birth control the weight started coming off on its own…

    OMG you are looking delicious @ 130lb. Beautiful at around 150 too. I’m a white guy and I’d have to disagree with Cherfer, I like my girls to be able to handle rough love. I feel compelled to be gentle with itty-bitty girls and that is boring. No, I do not like fat chicks =p

    You seem to be doing good!

    The basics to losing weight is really so simple.

    Burn up more than you take in.

    So, eat healthy; like you're doing, and drinking a lot of cold water.

    Exercise as oftn as you can. Weights are ok, but more cardio.

    Don't eat fried foods. Don't use butter/margerine…that kind of stuff. Stay away from dressings and the 'fatty' stuff.

    Your stomach will shrink and you won't feel as hungry. You have to train it the way you do anything with your body. I think you're doing great. Keep yopur food portions small, eat a little more frequently maybe, but keep the overall intake low.

    any sport is good for weight loss.
    buildin muscle is good for raising the amount of calories you burn on a regular basis (and burns them) and doing aerobic like running or swimming burns the calories.
    balance your eating. eat carbs and proteins, try to avoid fats and processed foods.
    eat small meals several times a day to prevent your body from feelin hungry.
    check yourself according to your body fat and not according to the scale, you dont need to be skeletal like some of those models.
    pinch your skin around ur waist area, if it's thicker than 1/2 an inch then you need to lose a couple lf pounds. DONT go just by the tables because they dont take into account muscle weight and build.

    Diet wise, you know, no junk. no processed food.

    * Instead of having 3 large meals in a day, have 5-6 small meals. Make sure to keep a gap of 2-3 hours between two consecutive meals. It will help speed up your metabolism and result in burning of more calories. Have protein, carbs & fat in a 40/40/20 percentage.
    * Drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day. The more you increase your water consumption, the better it is.
    * Never ever skip meals or eat too less in order to lose weight. It will only make your metabolism slower, resulting in an even slower burning of calories.

    Check with the gym trainers on food supplements like whey protein.

    Now I know you want a quick fix, too, and a pill that helps burn fat. Try Hydroxycut. Worked for me, but it's not cheap & can wreak havoc with your system.

    That said, there's a cardio training regimen called High-intensity interval training (HIIT). You sprint & walk. Can take only 15/20 minutes a day, 3/4 times a week. It is the current best way to raise your metabolism & burn fat. Here's a site that describes it in detail.
