The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc.
first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..
eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is not good .
if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.
go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.
if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose around 10 pounds (.714 stone) per month until you get to your natural healthy weight.. look up on the internet for an idea of what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.
10 pounds (.714 stone ) each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds (2 stones, 2 pounds)..for sure…but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed…
btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.
drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster…you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well

December 28th, 2010 at 5:01 amHere's a few diet habits that you could do.
I am inspired by the Japanese low rate of obesity and life longetivity.
Walk more often! Many Japanese don't rely on their car or public cars to do their activities. They do a lot of walking and climbing stairs on their daily activities. Japanese also ride bicycle often, those are good ways to increase the calories output.
Don't eat like a giant! You can start reducing your consumption, it may take sometime before your stomach is used to it.
Don't eat until you are full! Eat until you are 80% full.
Consume more fish based foods rather than meat based products.
Eat slowly! Compare the eating speed of a person that uses chopstick versus a person that uses spoon and fork. The chopstick is carefully designed so that you will eat slowly to let your digestion process works effectively. So eat at slower pace no matter how hungry you are.
Make that a habit and combine your habits with healthy foods
December 28th, 2010 at 5:08 amThere is no magic pill or program for weight loss, regardless of what others tell you.
When I first started weight watchers, it took me about 6 – 8 weeks before I saw steady benefits i.e. steady 2 – 3 lb loss per week.
You need to follow a sensible diet and start exercising. Start eating fruits and vegetables and lean protein.
There is a great show on the Lifestyle channel, Cook Yourself Thin. They show you how to change your fave recipes to low fat, low calorie. It’s a really neat show.
Their idea is that you take your goal weight and multiply by 10. This number is your maximum daily calories.
You need to eat what's called filling foods to not get hungry all the time. Things like apples and bananas are filling. Almost all types of beans, garbanzo, green, kidney, re-fried fat-free, beets, cauliflower are some of the many filling veggies.
Avoid over-use of salt, you will retain water.
Drink water, and if you don’t like it plain try a little squeezed lemon or lime in it. Drink at least 8 ozs before each meal.
You may also want to try switching from 3 meals a day and eating 4 or 5 lighter meals.
Exercise, … if you don’t already start walking or anything. Just don’t overdo it at first or you will find reasons to stop.
Losing weight requires a lifestyle change.
Good luck!

December 29th, 2010 at 4:04 pm@MISSHERMAN2007 My dad doesn’t work out at all. He lost A LOT of weight by just eating small portions every meal. It shocked me to think this skinny guy is my dad. O_O
December 30th, 2010 at 2:32 amA food plan that is easy to follow without any expensive things to buy.
A food plan that lets me feel satified with every meal and not still starving.
A food plan that allows me the freedom to choose what I want to eat – within reason.
A food plan that doesn't cut out one or more food groups.
A food plan that gives good results on the scales and in inches.
A food plan that doesn't make me tired and leaves me with no energy and headaches.
A food plan that lets you have a little treat every now and again without you putting 2Lbs back on.
A food plan that feels like a food plan and not a DIET.
I think that is all I could really ask for.
Hope this helps.

December 30th, 2010 at 5:18 pmHi papillion123.
Zero carbs. Fat flush. No dessert. Sound familiar? Losing weight is hard enough as it is, and all the fad diets that come and go make choosing a natural weight loss program much more confusing. There seems to be no consistent source of information. However, you can make real changes without excessive hunger and discomfort. Simply commit to a healthy diet to live by daily.
First, it’s important to understand the basics for good nutrition. The body’s three primary nutrient needs include protein, fats, and carbohydrates. The trick is choosing the right low-fat proteins, unsaturated fats, and whole-grain carbohydrates in reasonable portions. Even if your goal is not natural weight loss, the basics for good nutrition are essential to a healthy diet: Please look : http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/A_Healthy_Daily_Diet_For_Weight_Loss/
December 30th, 2010 at 6:48 pmYour eat 2000 calories for day – is just one factor in the equation for weight loss. The other key element in a successful weight loss program is daily exercise. You should engage in 30 minutes of aerobic activity every day. Choose something that you enjoy such as walking, bicycling, hiking, swimming, or any team sports. It is easier to keep exercising daily if the activities you choose are fun. After all, exercise is a way of life -just like eating a healthy diet.

Life is a joggling act and so when it comes to eating healthy we can all do with a little help. i have found that meal replacement by way of protein shakes twice a day and one regular meal has greatly enhance my physical well being. And yes these meal replacement can be had every day because they have all the minerals and vitamins that we need for the day.I get mine from this shop. http://www.shopherbalife.com/bestherbalifeonline
December 31st, 2010 at 7:14 amyou probably can't lose 50lbs in 6months unless you eat less than 1500cals a day or if you exercise for hrs. a day..
December 31st, 2010 at 8:57 ameating 1500cals is safe to do but you will have to get use to being hungry each and every day of the 6months. i did it for 5months and lost 33lbs.
if you think you can lose 50lbs in 6months without feeling hungry each day then i don't think that is realistic.
@drdietnews very true, people who live in colder climates consume way less water then in hotter. so why on earthe i have to wrestle with myself and pour 2 gallons a day in myself if i don’t even want. we need to drink water to replanish lost and clean body. its like another stupid myth: do oil change every 3 month or 3 miles. what a bullshit. even California government said its a bull of crap, and its true. cars can go on the same oil for as many as 15.000 miles
